Almadrava Beach - Beach - els Poblets - Costa Blanca
Almadrava beach is a semi-urban beach, about 2,900 meters in length, where fine sand alternates with boulders. Punta de la Almadraba divides this long beach in two coves with clear water. It is a beach frequented by families and occupancy is usually medium or low, it is an ideal spot for those seeking tranquility.
The name ‘Almadrava’ is given by the traditional system of fishing (called almadraba) so prized bluefin tuna that was practiced on these shores.
Almadrava beach has steady rocky bottoms and clear water and the beaches are especially valued by divers and lovers of water sports by its frequent Lebeche wind that usually blows at sunset on summer days, where people show up to practice windsurfing or kite-surfing.
Almadrava beach has been awarded the EU Blue Flag for the quality of the water, the cleanliness and services.
Although not especially touristic, there a few bars and restaurants. All on or very near the beach. Even in wintertime there is always a nice place for a meal or just a drink.

The beach for us is nearly a daily routine. Although I never was a beach person, this beach is dear to me. It’s beautiful, I love the atmosphere and mostly for locals. I love it, in the summer less often, but the rest of the year every day!
